"Surprise Mommy"..... :)

This morning I had to go and help my Dad load a trailer about a half of a mile from my house.  I was gone from home for about an hour.  When finished I was was walking up to our house door I could hear a lot of noise.  At this point I was worried because the only ones home were my kids (ages 10, 8, and 5).  I opened the door to a radio blaring and three busy kids, when they noticed I walked in the door they all stopped and yelled "surprise" we cleaned the house so you dont have to today :)  I have to say they did an awesome job, the dishes, floors, garbage out, and all the beds made!!  I was so proud of them!... Happy Easter Everyone!!

Is it spring yet...

I had a permanent smile on my face last week as I was watching the snow melt, and now it is cold, windy and going to snow again!  I dont think spring will ever be here. 
I cant wait for the baseball season to start, there is nothing to watch on TV this time of year - so I say bring on April so I can watch the Twins win!!  Hope to catch a game this year at the new stadium :)... okay there is the smile!!
